Loh Dalum Bay, Phi Phi Don Island |
Phi Phi Islands must be one of the must beautiful tropical islands in the world.
Many people only go on a daytrip thats give you around 4 hours before going back to Phuket. That's too short time to see and enjoy Phi Phi Islands.
Stay over at least one night or better three nights, rent a longtail boat and explore the islands in your own pace. Best time is in the morning hours before day trippers arrive at 11 AM, when the air is clear and the landscape is at its most colorful.
Ferries go from Phuket and Krabi daily both in the morning and afternoon. In high season it's best to go in the morning when there are more rooms available if you are thinking of staying over night. Get a open ticket so you can go back when you feel for it.
Daytrip:
After lunch on Phi Phi Don (main island) its time for snorkeling at famous Maya bay for those that want it. Or you can stroll around Ton Sai Village, relax on the beach either at Ton Sai, Loh Dalam or Long beach before ferry go back to Phuket at 02.30 PM.
If money is not a problem rent a speedboat after lunch and see more of the area like Bamboo Island, Mosquito Island, Nui Bay, Monkey Beach, Wang Long Bay and Phi Phi Leh.
