Patong Beach

is Phuket's most crowded beach, packed with sunbeds and umbrellas. It stretches almost 3 km along party mecca Patong.

Patong Beach have clean and crystal clear water in high season if you swim at the most northern end of the beach next to Novotel Resort. This is the only place where I will swim. A friend, after been to Surin Beach, told me that she now hate to swim at Patong Beach.

Patong is the most popular tourists place in Phuket. The city has been growing every year so long I can remember and there are no sign of it to slow down.

Patong is together with Surin, the beach with more sunbeds and parasols than any where else in Phuket. You don't go here to be alone on a quiet tropical beach. You go here to meet people from all over the world and party the night away. Not to swim in perfect crystal clear water, even if crystal clear water is only a few minutes away, either with boat, motorbike, car or walking to the most northern end of the beach next to Novotel Resort.

Patong is the party capital of Phuket with more than hundred bars, discos and nightclubs. Here both old and young enjoy a night out making new friends in the bars. Soi Bangla, the party street of Patong is only a few meters walk from the beach.

Patong Beach are not short of beach vendors. Cloths, ice cream, beer, etc. can be bought without leaving your sunbed. So don't forget your wallet at home!

Patong beach also have lot's of water activities like parasailing, jetski, bananaboat, windsurfing, wakeboard, waterski. You will not be bored!
