Khai Nok Island
A popular day trip destination east of Phuket. It takes only 15 minutes with speedboat to reach this picturesque very small island from the port of Koh Sirey.

Khai Nok has a beautiful snow-white sandy beach surrounded by crystal clear emerald green water, perfect for swimming, and if you are lucky - you have the chance to see a group of dolphins swimming near the island.
Since Khai Nok are used for day trips you will not be alone, but most people stay on the side facing Phuket. Where small tropical fish swim in shallow crystal clear water, waiting to be fed by tourists. But with so many people on a small area the water can get quite stirred up.
Lots of deck chair at the center of the beach together with restaurants and small bamboo shops selling souvenirs, cloths, ice cream and so on.
Midway between Khai Nok and close-by tiny Khai Nui island is a shallow water coral reef, excellent for snorkeling - even if the currents can be strong at times.
Khai Nok Island is one of my favorite day trip destinations!
