KATA NOI BEACH
|
Kata Noi is one of the finest beaches in Phuket with easy access from the road, but never crowded.
The beach has crystal clear water, white soft sand and with a view of the small evergreen Poo Island in the distance.
One of the thing I like best about this beach is that the bay have very little water activities.
And Kata Noi is not packed with sunbeds and umbrellas like Patong and Surin beach. Only two rows of sunbeds line the beach.
Kata Noi has mostly calm sea (low season is of course another story), but at times waves can roll in on the beach, lots of fun!

| The southern end of the beach is still a construction site (February 2010). After the construction started the sea at the southern end has been brown every time I have been to the beach. Rest of the beach still have crystal clear sea. So long the construction of the new villas last I would avoid the southern end of the beach. |
Else good value for money at Katanoi Bay Inn. Only one minute walk from the beach at the center of Kata Noi.
Kata Noi is very quiet in the evening and should it be for boring, a 10-20 minutes walk over a small hill will take you to the entertainment and shopping areas in Kata village. Great exercise or take a taxi or tuk-tuk.
