REAL Muay Thai Boxing and Training
The spectacle, sportsmanship and traditions of Muay Thai Boxing are enjoyed by all types of people - locals and visitors, men and women, young and old.
Muay Thai rules and scoring are very different to western boxing.
Effectiveness, power and balance are critical in every exchange which can include kicks, knees, punches, elbows, throws, leg traps and grappling. Strong attack matched by strong retaliation is encouraged by the judges, and the referee can stop the fight if an opponent cannot will not fight back effectively.
Who Wins?
Unless there is a knockout, the Judges award the fight to the strongest fighter, as will be reflected in their scorecards. Judges are looking for evidence of the effect of techniques, mental strength, physical condition and technical ability.
